CLI : Cancel "pending" tasks

is it possible to cancel "pending" tasks in PBS CLI-based , like GC or Verify , seems happen on missed or aborted tasks ?
Likely aborted because I'm stop/start "proxmox-backup-proxy.service" only during scheduled times,
( Reason is to allow umount USB datastore for safe hotplug and/or CIFS datastore to prevent hangs where share isn't available.
+ journalctl isn't filled about missing datastore ... )

Sure: Administration --> Tasks. Double click the task with the rotating spinner. There is a "Stop"-Button.

Edit: tested that with a "Verify". The task log now says "2025-01-06T21:28:11+01:00: TASK ERROR: verification failed - job aborted" - but the spinner is still active. Strange... :-(

Edit2: a "Reload" did update the content of the table. Now I see the "Error: ..." in the table - which is correct.
