Hi Folks,

Wondering about installing Proxmox onto a Cisco UCS server using the FlexFlash SD cards - is this possible / supported / recommended?

This is how you (can) install VMware on the UCS platform so the Hypervisor boots from SD and runs in memory.

Yes / No / No
You will destroy the SD card in under a half year.
Proxmox VE has local logging and so the are many data written.
These SD cards are made to read many/write little environments.

Yes, it is.

There are always pitfalls with this kind of setups.
