Cisco ISE + Call Manager Proxmox Support & Migration

Hello,
I’d like to hear about your practical experiences of migrating the Cisco Identity Services Engine from VMware to Proxmox.

KVM is generally supported there:

I’d also like to know if anyone is running a Cisco CallManager appliance on Proxmox. Unfortunately, I can’t find any support for Proxmox/KVM at the moment.

I have migrated Cisco ISE. It is running fine. I dont remember what virtual hardware I used.

Have also migrated Cisco ISE (HA Pair) without any larger issues and it runs fine AFAIK.

The changes that we had to do the the virtual hardware was that we had to use VMware PVSCSI instead of VirtIO, else it would not boot. You also have to set "Product = KVM" in SMBIOS settings - else it wont boot.

Unclear if newer versions of ISE has better compatibility, we intend to replace it so havn't looked into it. I dont know if Cisco provides a special KVM image? If so maybe consider doing a freash install instead of migrating(if there is some special sauce in the KVM image vs ESXI image).
