These are the 2 drives I'm looking at right now for a 16-32 node PVE6+Ceph RBD setup.

Referring to the 2018 performance doc,
https://www.proxmox.com/en/downloads/item/proxmox-ve-ceph-benchmark

They ran an fio command to represent expected 4KQD1 performance as it pertains to OSD journal performance.

Unfortunately manufacturers only publish 4K numbers with very high queue depths. I'm wondering if anyone has anything to add, or if you own one of these drives perhaps you already have some fio results to share?

The intel is naturally a tad more expensive but my findings so far suggest superior write performance and a little better endurance. Just curious if you all have anything to add.

Thanks
