Changing Proxmox Address

So, I have installed Proxmox on a Dell Precision 3630MT with Proxmox's default network addresses, that's it. I am waiting for 32GB memory to arrive, as I had to return because one module was bad, for a total of 64GB. I intend to install pfSense VM and wanted to make it's LAN the network for all VM or containers, including Proxmox and Linux bridge. Will I be able to change Proxmox's default address and do that via the webGUI? I have set the Dell's on-board NIC as the management interface for Proxmox as well as added an Intel i350xT4 for pfSense WAN pass-through and maybe a VPS pass-through by VPN to FreePBX server on a separate Lenovo device.

You will have to edit "/etc/network/interfaces" (WebUI: YourNode -> System -> Network), the "/etc/hosts" (WebUI: YourNode -> System -> Hosts) and the "/etc/resolv.conf" (WebUI: YourNode -> System -> DNS).

Well, it didn't work and I am sure the fault is mine. In setting up Proxmox, I connected it to my production pfSense so I could update, etc. Then, configured Proxmox IOMMU passthrough, etc. Then, I installed pfSense and gave its LAN the default gateway...that's were things fell apart.

That's when I realize it will not work as I was imagining it. That's because Proxmox has to boot before the VM can boot.

Back to the drawing board...now, the plan is to keep everything on the same network 10.8.27.0 since the production pfSense has a DMZ with gateway and DNS as 10.8.27.1 to which Proxmox management interface is connected with IP 10.8.27.36...so, I might change pfSense LAN on Proxmox to maybe 10.8.27.2...I'll see. The FreePBX and phones are already on the same 10.8.27.0 network; however, will need to have the pfSense LAN on Proxmox resolving DNS, since a VPN will be involve.

I don't understand your network configuration, I mean I don't understand what is the problem with the network. What is falling apart?
