Hello everyone, in a cluster with 3 nodes I would need to change the current network for backups that are currently in production on a 192.168.2.0/24 segment. I would like to move that network to another switch with a different class. Is it enough to change the ip where the datastores are shared from the PBS or beyond this it is necessary to remove the existing one from the cluster and reconfigure everything? If so, existing backups and configurations are maintained?

Thank you

hi,

If you change the network IP for PBS you only need to change the IP in /etc/pve/storage.cfg from the PVE side to the new IP for the PBS.

Great, so I only change the IP on PBS with the new network and immediately after I published storage.cfg from node 1 with the new ip. Correct?

Glad to read that :)

I will go ahead and set your thread as [SOLVED] to help other people who have the same situation

have a good day :)
