Changelogs in WEbUI

Hi,
when i want to read changelogs for updates in the WebUI I get an Network Error:

Failed to fetch [B]https://metadata.ftp-master.debian.org/changelogs/main/b/bash/bash_5.2.37-2_changelog[/B] Changelog unavailable for bash=5.2.37-2 (Cannot initiate the connection to metadata.ftp-master.debian.org:443 (2a04:4e42:8e::644). - connect (101: Network is unreachable))

I can read the changelog by opening a new browser tab py pasting the URL of the changelog to tha address bar.

Our servers are airgapped. We install updates via POM.

Obviously, the WebUI ist issuing the command apt changelog <packetname> on the server to retrieve the changelog.

Is there a way to change this behavior? It would be much more convenient, if my local browser could open the URL to the changelog directly.

do you have a working ipv6 connection? it seems apt resolves the ip to ipv6 and tries with that, but it says that this is unreachable.

maybe because your client does not try to use ipv6?

The Problem is, that apt runs on the Server, which is airgapped. But I want to read the changelog on the client (Browser / PVE WebUI).
It would be convenient, to send put Just a hyperlink to the changelog in the WebUI.

My client can read the changelog, but not by simply doubleclicking on a packet name in the list of upgradable packets.

it's a bit of a narrow use case IMO, but at least worth discussing. would you mind opening a feature request on our bugtracker (https://bugzilla.proxmox.com) ? there we can track it better and other devs can also chime in
