so i changed the PCI slot my NIC was in to match the other nodes in my cluster it changed the name of the ports on the adapter so changed in in the file and restarted networking node went back online rebooted node a couple days later and noticed it didn't come back online had to restart networking the next time i noticed it hangs at loading ramdisk and then gives errors i have to restart networking on this node every time the power goes out or needs to reboot its not to often but annoying none the less 1762413350187.png
 
If you change the PCIe slot or add some PCIe card the linux kernel will rename the PCIe devices, including nic names.
You can PIN your nic names to prevent changes with pve-network-interface-pinning

If you have an intel nic there is the possibility you are affected by the e1000e issue
To fix that you can try to disable hardware offloading for your nic
