Change Verify Receiver

Hi.

When I installed Proxmox, I give a wrong address for my internal mail gateway.
I changed it via the interface.
But It still use the old one to verify receivers.
(And it is the wrong ip so I have a "Recipient address rejected: unverified address: connect to 10.0.0.4[10.0.0.4]:25: Connection refused").

I rebooted but it doesn't change anything.

The verify receiver host isn't the same as the mail gateway ?

proxconfig|grep 10.0.0.4
returns nothing.

the verify receiver host is your internal email server (not the Proxmox Mail Gateway)

Hi.

Thanks for your reply but I don't understand : how does proxmox find it ?
on my internal network, "dig mx <mydomain>" returns the right it (10.0.1.45) and not the ip used by proxmox (10.0.0.4).
Proxmox really use the wrong ip I typed when installed.

I suppose it will end with a new install but that's sad ...

Well, I finally re-installed with the right ip from start and now verifiy works.

But I'm facing a new problem :
Yesterday, sending mail thru it from outside of my network was working.

Today, it work only from my internal network.
From the outside I have this :

How can I find what "Protocol Error" mean ?
I see absolutely nothing interesting in log files :

Note : Hello verification is deactivated. But I also tried with a correct value and it have no effect.

Anybody can help or point me how to investigate ?

I added "-vvv" to smtpd in master.cf to debug and ... it worked ...
So I removed and it stll works.
So I do'n't understand.
But all is fine now.
