Hi all.

We are having problems missing emails due to the IP range from google being blacklisted. Is there any way other than disable dnsbl to return rejected emails to Quarantine state.

Thanks and Regards !

no not directly - remove the dnsbl - and then you should get the mails - spamassassin itself checks quite a few dnsbls and assigns scores to that - you can increase that score to make sure the mails would really end in quarantine

I hope this helps!

EDIT: but ... google ips being blacklisted does sound strange (they usually do a somewhat good job in not sending out spam) - maybe your selection of dnsbl_sites is just not fitting?

We tried disabling dnsbl on smtp so spamassassin can check sender ip. However it doesn't seem to work correctly. Spamcore = 0 and no score for dnsbl

SA score=0/5 time=2.282 bayes=undefined autolearn=ham autolearn_force=no hits=DKIM_SIGNED(0.1),DKIM_VALID(-0.1),DKIM_VALID_AU(-0.1),DKIM_VALID_EF(-0.1),FREEMAIL_FROM(0.001),HTML_MESSAGE(0.001),RCVD_IN_DNSWL_BLOCKED(0.001),RCVD_IN_MSPIKE_H2(-0.001),SPF_HELO_NONE(0.001),SPF_PASS(-0.001)

we also just noticed googles ips being listened recently. Their ips is listed from 2 or more sources.
