Change hostname

Hi,

May I know if it is possible to change the hostname of nodes in a proxmox cluster? If yes, please provide the steps to do the same.

I don't wanna be rude, but did you try to use the search function? This is one of the most common questions here in this forum. There is literally a post barely 24 hours old about it: https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/how-to-change-hostname-on-node.120760/

Also you can always look into the Proxmox Wiki: https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Renaming_a_PVE_node

If you happen to get into some problems doing these steps, then we can try to help you out.

The linked article in the other thread does say that the method works with a non-empty node but it is not sure that this works with a node in a cluster. So I'd just chime in for future reference that I tried this on a non-empty node (pve 8.2.2) that is part of a cluster and it worked FYI.
