Change and remove the master node from the cluster

I have 3 PMG servers in cluster:
mx001, mx002 and mx003.
mx002 is the cluster's master node and I will format it.
I need to make mx001 the new cluster master and then remove mx002 before formatting.
I was unable to find the procedure for this operation.
Does anyone have this doc?
