Hello,
I constantly gets this annoying certificate error on my browser to both the VNC and the VE adm page.
I think, I saw someone write that it could be "solved" with a SSH, but I don't know how.
Would someone be kind to either tell me or point me in a direction to an explanation?

you can generate a new certificate for the apache, if you need also one from an external authority. or just import the current certificate to your browser trust list (what browser do you use?).

did you installed the current one (see Administration/Server/Certificate)?

I'm using IE 8, and yes I have imported the certificate into "Rootkeycentres, that I trust" (it's in Danish, but I think this is what it would be in English), where it says that it's issued by Proxmox.

Security is not my keycompetence, so please carve it in stone for me.

Hello,
It looks just like you picture, but it still wouldn't work.
Some investigation told me, that having (by stupidity) imported the certificate into "Other persons" was not a good thing, so as I got rid of thise, it stopped to annoye me with "Certificateerror".
thanks

I assume you got still the "Missmatched Address" error? disable the following on IE - see screenshot.

Or create a new apache certifcate with the right address or use another browser and add is as trusted, e.g. Firefox.

thanks a lot,

I got it working OK, when I deleted the certificate in "Other Persons", which was not easy, but I found a way thru the amazing Internet.
