[SOLVED] CEPH uninstall and reinstall from scratch?

Hello,

I tried installing CEPH jewel on Proxmox 4.4 but there was an issue with one monitor and I couldn't get Ceph healthy (one monitor was marked as having low space, for some reason). So I purged ceph completely and re-initialized it. Now I am getting the following error when creating monitor 0 :

root@prox1:~# pveceph createmon
no monitors specified to connect to.
rados_connect failed - Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

How can I completely remove CEPH and reinstall it from scratch again? I have tried pveceph purge but that did not solve the issue.

there was a bug in pve-manager < 5.0-28 where creating the first monitor failed like this. if your version is lower, please upgrade.

It is running pve-manager : 4.4-17 (running version: 4.4-17/70a65945). Updates are offering:
proxmox-ve/stable 4.4-94 all [upgradable from: 4.4-92]
pve-manager/stable 4.4-18 amd64 [upgradable from: 4.4-17]

This is not branch 5.0, was the bug also affecting 4.4-17?

After upgrading what apt had to offer, I could indeed create the monitors.
