I have a 4 node cluster and I attempted to install CEPH on one of my cluster members and succeeding what appeared to me a successful installation of the packages I got a "got timeout" with a spinning circle just in precedence to where I should be clicking "next" to get to the configuration.

This was originally a question, but I figured out the problem. I fully reinstalled all the ceph packages and as well deleted /etc/pve/ceph.conf and thereafter it offered me the normal way to attempt to configure my ceph cluster.

Worthy of notation was that I found it much easier and simpler to ZFS all my drives, install the nfs-kernel-server set sharenfs=on and add an NFS mount to the datacenter and call it a day!

This got me the surety of ZFS RAIDZ coupled with the east of NFS for spreading access across all the nodes in my ProxMox cluster. It was the best idea to use.
