Ceph Reef to Squid

hi members,

as i am planning to upgrade ceph in a production cluster, request members who already upgraded to squid , has faced any sort of problem ? i can not have downtime in the cluster at this moment, if any member faced any issue kindly post , acording to advise i will plan upgrade. .... Thanks

should i move the vm's to local storage before upgrade ? have some bad experience last year ?

I just performed this migration last week. Followed the official Proxmox guide (uses the same basic workflow for several Ceph releases now...) and had no issues at all.

I have done an uprade on a production cluster and face no issue. Proxmox version 8.3.5 when we did the upgrade from reef to squid.

Good luck and all the best. Make sure you have backup and a NAS somewhere for emergency

all update has been completed, but got some error during update process, but it is not affected anything , should i proceed with those command ? or have some other way out ? please advise ?

then execute these command on next upgrade process or wait for proxmox team to resolve the issue, at this moment nothing changes in the system. a little bit confused
i chose to do what it said, tested on one node that it didn't affect boot after running it and then did on all nodes when it told me to
