Ceph pool disk size increase.

Hi. New to this....
I have a Ceph cluster of 3 devices.
All cluster hosts have the same size disks. Do they have to be the same size to ensure some sort of redundancy?

I'm planning on increasing the size of storage for ceph cluster.
My thought was to remove each machine from the cluster at a time and readd with increased storage size. Is that the correct approach?
 
OSD size -> weight parameter
OSD change - don't remove nodes from cluster, just change disks. Check documentation (pve, ceph).
