[SOLVED] ceph jewel Ceph_OSD_tunables question

Hello , I'm setting up a test of ceph storage , following pve wiki and have a small question.

most of wiki page Ceph_Server refers to jewel .

however this section , Ceph_Server#Set_the_Ceph_OSD_tunables , has:
"ceph osd crush tunables hammer"

on that line should hammer be switched to jewel ?

No as jewel tuntables requires kernel 4.5+, Proxmox currently runs 4.4, so have to run on the old turntables or your have issues with KRBD clients.

Once Proxmox moves to a kernel 4.5 or above then Jewel tuntables can be used.
