I've managed to get CEPH working. Exciting stuff!

I have this annoying warning constantly present:

I assume it comes from this:

Can I increase the PG of .mgr to 2?

Will it break anything? What is the best practice for this.

Hello,

I would say the error is from your first pool 'Ceph-Pool-1', since it has 120 PGs, which is not a power of 2. Powers of 2 are 1-2-4-8-16-32-64-128-256-512 and so on ;)

I think the .mgr pool is the 'device_health_metrics' pool (but I dunno why it has the name '.mgr'). That one is special and iirc always has only 1 PG.

Kind regards,
Benedikt

It got renamed with quincy.

Click on the (i) button next to it. This should present you the detailed message and indicate which pool it is. And like @B.Otto already pointed out, it will most likely be the Ceph-Pool-1

This is exactly it. Solved. Thanks!
