CEPH: additional nodes without virtualisation

Hi,

cause the Windows Server Licence problematic:

As I know you 've to provide enough windows Server licence for each node in the cluster, where you could make a live migration to.
When 've a pve cluster with CEPH the needed licence are in an overseeable manner. But when I want to increase the nodes of CEPH, I've to increase the licence,...

Is there a way, to bind additional CEPH nodes without the possibility of virtualisation to the Cluster?

I think it is only on an manual way,...

Hmm, not really. At least not in any supported way.

You could play around with HA groups and "restricted" but I doubt that this would be accepted if it comes down to the question if you licensed your Windows servers correctly.
