CentOS and Ubuntu LTS not really supported

OpenVZ seems like a great concept but if you install the CentOS and Ubuntu appliances they don't work out of the Box. This is quite de-motivating to new users who want to try out the concept. I see that Debian is fully supported but many users won't understand that that means the other won't work right away (cannot see anything in console) out of the box. I for my part just decided it's too complicated and use KVM

So its very easy to get the console running. please note, the container works out of the box, ONLY the console it not working - which is not really that important.

but yes, KVM is generally easier to use for beginners, I agree.
