Celeron N3010 CPU with Proxmox?

I bought a Lenovo M600 from eBay with 8GB Ram & 256GB SSD. The Celeron processor has two cores. It does not have KVM/QEMU capabilities. Is this usable with Proxmox? I disabled kvmtuner and built a VM. On the VM console it says guest user has not setup a display. So, should I even try to use this machine with Proxmox? If so, how can I fix the console? BTW, my VM is meant to hold a home-assistant instance which is ARM OS and may need the QEMU to emulate (Right?). As you can see, I am a floundering new comer (LOL).

I have not heard of kvmtuner. Yes, no support for virtualization (KVM) is a problem and the Proxmox installer even warns about it. You could run containers fine instead of VMs. Proxmox does not support VM for other platforms than x86, so ARM is also problematic. Sorry but I don't know how to help with your particular hardware and wishes for VMs.

Thanks Lee, I did see Proxmox for Linux and QEMU can emulate ARM processors. But my problem is not having QEMU support. It appears likely my M600 is just not upto what I am trying to do.
Thanks for your speedy reply, Doug

Thanks all. I did not find the deeply nested KVM/QEMU capabilities to enable under CPU under some other heading.
Now that I enabled that, Proxmox works great and I have Home-assistant working in a VM.
Now I am learning about implementing IOStack on a second VM. So little time and so much fun to be had:cool:
