can't shutdown vms TASK ERROR: can't lock file '/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-100.conf' - got timeout

Hello everyone,

i'm new to The Proxmox world

- i have Dell Poweredge r730 and on it run Proxmox 7.0.1 and i try do the setup to passthrough for a GPU i follow the steps in those youtube tutorial:

  1. Remote Gaming! (and Video Encoding using Proxmox and GPU Passthrough)
  2. Virtual Gaming with Proxmox // RTX 2060 GPU Passthrough to Windows 10

and i read in the forum and some proxmox Wikipedia and the steps show more or less the same things, eventually i brouk the system?
i can't shutdown the vms and it show me this kind of errore: can't lock file '/var/lock/qemu-server/lock-100.conf' - got timeout or TASK ERROR: VM quit/powerdown failed - got timeout



i tried many times to reinstall the proxmox os but the errore remain

AU: When you wrote "qm unlock 100", i should open ssh and run this line as root?

Have a same problem on Dell PowerEdge R710.
I create a single host ceph storedge with six hdd drives as RAID-0 ( 6 OSD), and in boot.
But from the start - a can`t create any VM ( Used different OS, different hardware settings, differend kind of disk-s ) - same result
 
Have you tried to manually delete the lock?
Bash:
rm /var/lock/qemu-server/lock-<VMID>.conf
