Hi there.
I've created a 2nd VD on VM setting wrong destination (selected local-zfs instead of NFS storage). Now I'm unable to detach and remove this VD. Obviously tried to do so with VM turned off. This VD hasn't been used at all.

Code:
can't remove drive 'ide0' - protection mode enabled (500)

Already tried to reboot Proxmox but still no luck... Any ideas?
BTW: Same thing goes to temporary created 2GB VD placed on NFS NAS (this VD was made just for adding extra VD drivers under VM itself). Can't remove it either...

You set the VM to "Protected" as the error says, disable Protection under VM Options panel in web interface.

From all scenarios running through my mind I missed the obvious one :) Thank you for the tip - obviously "protected" parameter was the cause.
