Hi,
I can't seem to reach the web interface from my network on my new routing device. I am trying to go all FOSS/Open source software for my network but I will admit I'm still a bit of a novice when it comes to networking and command line.
My overarching goal here is to get proxmox running opn-sense to replace my existing firewall (firewalla gold) which is currently acting as my firewall & router.
My device is as follows:
CWWK Mini PC Intel N Series 8-core N305 Fanless Mini Host Soft Route. (N305-Barebone+4*M.2 NVMe)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CL5Q1YZ3?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
It is running 16gb ddr5 and is stable as far as I can tell.
I looked up some advice these forums and found some commands to run and have verified my IP has been established and there are no collisions with another device sharing the same IP. (please see attached)
Pinging the device from any other computer on my network produces the destination host unreachable and using the recommended web browser ip for the interface also does not work. Interestingly when I take the device off my network and plug directly into it with my laptop and try to connect to the interface the problem follows. This occurs regardless of which port i plug my network cable into.
I have tried different network cables and have tried directly installing OPNVPN on the device (which works) so I'm fairly certain my hardware is not at fault. It appears to me to be a configuration problem with Proxmox.
I have reached the limits of my ability here and would greatly appreciate your help.
