Cant ping Windows VM but has internet connection

On my Proxmox node, I have a Windows VM set with a static IP in the OS and on my router. The VM has internet connectivity. The network interface is set to bridged under the hardware settings of the VM in Proxmox. I have another Windows VM with the same exact setup as this VM and that one can be pinged by my Proxmox server. What are some areas I need to check?

Did you checked the Configuration of your Windows VM? Is it only unable to ping the Node?

I did not try to ping the node from the VM itself. I will try that tonight but I am sure it will not succeed.

I also confirmed that the config of both Windows VMs (the one that can be pinged and the other that cannot be pinged) are working. Only difference is, I have not activated the Windows license on this VM that cannot be pinged. I don't think that would be an issue but who knows.

Normally you can't ping a Windows System. It depends on what Network Type the Interface is configured, is it private or public. For both different FW rules are applied. If you do not have an AD, this might be the issue.

Hi, I have a similar issue.
My windows VM is able to ping the node and my local PC on the same network.
My node is able to ping my local PC but unable to ping the windows VM
My local PC is able to ping my node but unable to ping the windows VM
I need some help to understand why this is happening
