can't mount nfs inside Ubuntu 8.04 guest (appliance)

I thought I had this working but there seems to be some sort of time-out issue on the HN mount. I haven't determined how long it lasts, but several times today I've discovered the mount disappears and I get:

proxmox0:~# ls /mnt/files
ls: cannot access /mnt/files: No such device

Then I have to unmount and remount.

Does this sound like it could be anything Proxmox/ OpenVZ related?
