Hello, I started to experiment with proxmox, after viewing a lot of videos about it. I've been using a normal server with qemu and libvirt for managing VM (homelab), and I'm now trying proxmox. However I'm facing a weird problem that I'm yet to find a solution, even after a lot of search.

Everytime I access a Guest VM with virt-viewer using the spice interface, I can't login on the guest. I tried with fedora and pop-os. This happens on gdm login and on running sudo command on the console. I can access fine by ssh and with noVNC, I can even work with the guest os, on Spice client, after login on the noVNC interface.

I suppose this should be a very basic and noob question that I'm missing, but I really am no able to find a solution.

Thanks for any answer.

Edit:
The message I get over at the GDM login is:
Sorry password authentication didn't work

Hi,

Can you check if you have a specific keyboard layout on the PVE datacenter?

Bash:
cat /etc/pve/datacenter.cfg

Hello, thank you very much for your quick answer.

Although keyboard layout was a problem for noVNC, at least on GDM I'm able to view the password I'm typing and it is correct, so it shouldn't be a keyboard layout problem.
