Can't import ZFS pool in cluster

Hi all,

I've made a two node proxmox cluster. One node has 4 drives in raidz using ZFS.

I've imported the ZFS filesystem using Datacenter > Storage > Add > ZFS and it appears under each node in the cluster server view.

If I create a VM on the ZFS filesystem on the node hosting it, it works fine. If I try and make a VM on it using the other node it fails.

First, in the Create Virtual Machine wizard, on the Hard disk screen it shows the drive as being 'type zfspool' with 0B Available and 0B capacity.

If I press on anyway, I get this error in the task viewer.

no pools available to import
TASK ERROR: create failed - zfs error: cannot create 'poolz1/vm-disks/vm-100-disk-1': no such pool 'poolz1'

Do I have permissions wrong somewhere?

ZFS Pools are only local, you cannot use it from another node

Thanks Dominik.

What should I use instead? I wanted something similar to raidz but am after shared storage.

OK, I just tried that.

If I use the IET iSCSI provider, I get:
TASK ERROR: create failed - No configuration found. Install iet on 192.168.0.132 at /usr/share/perl5/PVE/Storage/LunCmd/Iet.pm line 113.

If I use the commstar provider, I get:
bash: /usr/sbin/stmfadm: No such file or directory
TASK ERROR: create failed - command '/usr/bin/ssh -o 'BatchMode=yes' -i /etc/pve/priv/zfs/192.168.0.132_id_rsa root@192.168.0.132 /usr/sbin/stmfadm create-lu -p 'wcd=true' -p 'guid=602353f0c3c11b82399c4a254c7dd431' /dev/zvol/rdsk/poolz1/vm-100-disk-1' failed: exit code 127

I installed proxmox on debian jessie if that matters.

Hello.

Any plans to support scst iSCSI targets?
Is frustrating to have a working storaged (with scst as target), and no support for use ZFS over iSCSI from Proxmox... (only comstar, istgt, and iet)
