Hello All,

I am a brand new Proxmox user. Today I installed 6.1 on an 8th gen i3 NUC. I ran through everything, rebooted and I get to the screen that says welcome, please use your web browser to connect to 192.168.100.2:8006...

So I go to my laptop and put in the address and nothing - it cant find the NUC.

I honestly have no idea what to do at this point - I've tried reading through a few different posts here and searching google, but I can find anything that helps. I've read the wiki, but most of what i read is confusing. I can log into the NUC directly, but I don't understand how to figure anything out.

Hi,

So I go to my laptop and put in the address and nothing - it cant find the NUC.

So two basic questions, just to be sure:
  • You did not forgot to add "https", i.e.: https://192.168.100.2:8006
  • You are in the same local network (LAN) as the host with the Laptop? Not that WLAN and wired connection are on different subnets or the like
Can you ping the PVE host?
