can't get i915 driver to load

Proxmox newbie.
Trying to get the integrated GPU to work for passthrough to a LXC.
Running Proxmox 7.2-11

Shouldn't the VGA compatible controller have something like Kernel driver in use:?

did you try to load the module with

modprobe i915

can you post the output of 'dmesg' ?

Thanks.
The dmesg output helped me out.
It showed that i had put nomodeset in /etc/default/grub
Removing nomodeset helped loading the drivers.
