Can't create CT or VM in local-lvm [SOLVED]

Hi all,
I'm using Proxmox VE since v5 on the same host, updating it regularly. It's running 7.2-7, and it's working fine :)
The host is equipped with 2 SSDs (each ~500G), and in the past, I was able to chose local-lvm as a place to store VM Disks and CT volumes.
Fore whatever reason, I don't have that option any longer in the UI (can't say since when this is the case, might be since several month...)
I was able to find some similar discussion here, unfortunately non of them solved my issue.
As it was asked in one of the discussions, please see the following output:
cmd.png

I did a systemctl restart pvestatd pveproxy pvedaemon without any change, same for a re-boot.

Any idea what I can do in order to enable the storage again?

Thanks
Wolfgang

The output from paves status:

root@pve:~# pvesm status Name Type Status Total Used Available % Data dir active 479596200 227348728 227811812 47.40% SynoNAS cifs active 7492217368 3181894324 4310323044 42.47% local dir active 98497780 9826112 83622120 9.98% local-lvm lvmthin active 354791424 68794057 285997366 19.39%

And for cat /etc/storage.cfg:

root@pve:~# cat /etc/pve/storage.cfg dir: local path /var/lib/vz content iso, vztmpl, backup lvmthin: local-lvm thinpool data vgname pve content images, rootdir dir: Data path /mnt/data content vztmpl, images, iso, rootdir shared 0 cifs: SynoNAS path /mnt/pve/SynoNAS server 192.168.81.111 share Backup content rootdir, iso, images, backup, vztmpl maxfiles 2 username proxmox

The screenshot where you show that you "cannot" select the storage, shows you trying to pick an ISO type image for cdrom.
Local-lvm is not the type of storage that allows for such data placement or selection.

You can select where to place the VM on the next screen that deals with disks...
