Can't change screen resolution in Windows 10 VM

Hello! I have some problem.
I was try to change resolution to 1024x768 in the uefi menu.
It work. But if i switch of vm and power on again - resolution reverted back to 800x600.
I need reboot vm after cold start to get 1024x768 again.
PVE 4.3, free repo. windows server 2012r2.

You have already added an efi disk?

this is a limitation of ovmf.

with it, you can either set the resolution in the uefi menu (press esc during the boot logo; device manager -> ovmf platform configuration -> resolution)
or use the spice display and install the driver for it (this is the only virtual display hardware in which you can set the resolution in the guest directly)

The first suggestion of setting resolution in UEFI menu didn't help at all.

But the second suggestion of installing the SPICE "Windows guest tools" driver seemed to help! I suggest people try both of these when having issues with resolution issues in Windows 10 VMs.

My display has a set resolution of 1920x1080 now and I am unable to change it in Windows display settings. But not problem because at least I have HD resolution now.
