Hello!

Please let me ask one more question: as I have plenty of samba shares that can be used as shared storage in Proxmox I decided to try to use some of them but failed:

1) the share adshare that is accessible with my domain account (for read/write):

2) the share testshare which is accessible for local smbusers smbuser1 and smbuser2:

The log:

I don't have any issues in creating files/folders in those shared folders (I tried the shares without any files/folders inside so that was not the problem) so what am I doing wrong here?

Thank you in advance,
Michael

Hi,
the error indicates that you have an logon failure. According to your screenshots, i assume this is because the username is not correct. Note that the domain should not be part of the username but rather be put into the corresponding field.
