hi,

* which iso are you using?

* how did you create the install medium?

* did you verify the checksum of the iso (to make sure there is no corruption)

This is the iso im using https://www.proxmox.com/en/downloads/item/proxmox-ve-6-4-iso-installer1620740550302.png

The installation method was puttin the iso into the remote ilo console and then booting from there but i also tried with a usb and rufus and the same error

And about the checksum i dont know what is that and how to check it but i dont think its corrupted when it first gave me this error i downloaded the iso another time to be sure it was not broken. How can i check the checksum?

I think its something from my computer because i tried the same iso in a vm on my laptop and it works

on the link you sent you can see:
Code:
SHA256SUMS for the ISO:
ab71b03057fdeea29804f96f0ff4483203b8c7a25957a4f69ed0002b5f34e607

so if you run on a terminal sha256sum proxmox-ve_6.4-1.iso to calculate the checksum of the file, it should be the same as above.

Hi,

maybe some "UEFI vs. legacy boot" foo? You could play around with the BIOS boot settings.
You could also try another iso, e.g. Debian, just to see whether the problem changes.

My server is Legacy bios and as far as i know if it was trying to boot in uefi it would not boot to the menu where you select if you want to install or rescue
