Hi,
First i'm new in proxmox and I know nothing about it.
The problem is when i want to connect into my proxmox interface web, my browser say : ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
i try to ping it and he say request timeout exceeded
Please help me

What ip address is shown on the physical display of the PVE host?
What kind of setup is your network? Single LAN? More complex? At home? In a company?
Is the PVE host and your client connected to the very same network? By copper?
What is your client (Laptop? PC? Supercomputer?)
What IP address has the client? What OS is it running?
How did you try to "ping" the PVE node? Please post the full command and the error message in

blocks.

So many questions...

And please do not obfuscate local address - there is really no security risk to tell us the correct data.

Sorry, one single command and three elements I am not happy with:
 • IP addresses consist of four octets, not three
 • you can not specify a port number! (Ping uses ICMP as protocol, not TCP or UDP. Check Wikipedia for what this means.)
 • please do not obfuscate local address - there is really no security risk to tell us the correct data
Try ping XXX.XXX.XXX with XXX.XXX.XXX being the four octets shown on the screen of the PVE host.

I am not yet convinced that both machines are in the same subnet, thats why I asked for the actual information. In the Windows cmd prompt, what gives ipconfig?

Okay, great! If you get an idea of what the reason was please put it here - for reference.

And please edit the first post and select "Solved" in the drop-down box.

Have fun :-)
