I recently redid my home network and put the PVE machine(along with many other) on a different subnet (from 192.168.1.x to 192.168.5.x). And for some reason, after proxmox boots up, I cannot access the host webui, but all containers are live and working fine. From my firewall/router(OPNsense) I can see containers getting DHCP leases with their hostnames, but I don't see the host getting an IP address. I'm 99.99% sure I didn't set up the host to use static IP(which would be in 192.168.1.x subnet).
I don't have a spare monitor to hook up to the machine, I'm wondering if there's anything I can try to see what's going on? The machine has a RS232 port and I have an old USB-to-RS232 cable, and I'm wondering if buying one of those cheap HDMI capture devices ($20?) would work so I can hook it up to my laptop...
fwiw The machine is a lenovo TS140 with i3 CPU, running plex and some download client in containers.
