good day

i did an update today which included a kernel upgrade.
because of this i have restarted my server.
since the restart my hdd's are no longer recognized, which are attached to my two hba's.

because of this i loaded an older kernel, but this did not help.
after that i tried every kernel i could choose, without success.

my 4 normal hdd´s and my ssds are all online and reachable.

my hdd's belong to the tank and to the backup.

i hope someone can help me.

Hi,

are you getting any errors in journalctl -b. Did you check lspci if the controller shows up there?

it seems that both controllers are missing.

edit:
thanks for the tip.
after not finding the pci devices i checked again to see what the problem could be, since both cards warmed up yesterday i assumed they were on and running.

I googled the error to my board then and found out that my bios had reset itself, whereby the pci slots were no longer divided (x8x8) but was only 1x16, which is why the second card was no longer found and nothing worked.

yesterday i must have overlooked this when checking the bios
