Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. Today I want to try the Proxmox VE on my laptop, but the installation process struggle in finding the Wi-Fi module "Intel AC7265" firmware from github.
Before the trial I had installed Proxmox VE in a VMware Player VM on my Window 7 PC, though there are one reminder of no Intel Vt-x/d and AMD IOMMU support, I don't meet other problem during the installation process.

Here is the photo I taken. I have no idea to deal with it, is it possible using "debug mode" to skip that process?

Thank you, I would like to know how to add the iwlwifi-7265-ucode-25.30.14.0.tgz to the installer.
Does this mean I need to compile the Kernel myself? If Kernel compile is needed, how to compile it and add the compiled Kernel to installer?

Also, after half an hour, I get into the installer, but I cannot control the keyboard in debug mode. I am trying to reproduce the condition.

Sidestepping your question for a second, have you tried plugging your Lenovo into your router with a physical ethernet cable? That will likely resolve your problem (and ideally, you should be using a wired connection anyway).

Thank for your reply. Before the installation I have already plugged ethernet cable.

Finally I installed Proxmox VE using the default mode, waited an hour due to the no Wi-Fi firmware problem. Currently I do not need the Wi-Fi but I will try to add it later. I would like to know if it is possible to use Wi-Fi as the Proxmox Management Port so I can passthrough the ethernet to VM.
