Cannot get console to start.

Noob here...

Trying to install ProxMox. Have no problems running the install - in either console or graphical. Answer all the questions - it prompts to remove the usb drive and reboots. Get the following...Ideas?

It looks like the system is not booting from the disk. To fix this, configure the boot order with the disk you installed the Proxmox product to as the first entry.

Thanks for the reply! That was it! I was using a disk i had installed Ubuntu on and it had an Ubuntu UEFI partition that apparently the install did not overrrite. Changed to an old spinning disk that had windows 7 installed - and it overrote that with no problems...

Now to figure out how to remove all traces of Ubuntu from the SSD

wipefs may help.

Just be cautious, as it will delete all partitions on the given disk.
