Hi all,
I just installed Proxmox VE 5.4-3 on my Dell Poweredge r710 following the guide by Craft Computing on YouTube. I got all the way until I had to make a CIFS share to load OS ISOs onto. I entered my share ID and the IP address of the server but no shares came up. The guide said that I had to make a ZFS on the server, but it never showed up on the share list.

Thanks for any help!

i guess you are confusing some things here, first you do not need a cifs share for isos, just some file based storage (this can be a local directory, cifs, nfs, etc..)
second what do you mean with
I had to make a ZFS on the server, but it never showed up on the share list.
?

I need to make a network share so that I can add isos to the server from other computers.

from or to ?

if you just want to upload isos, you can use the webgui storage -> content -> upload
if you want to have a share for all nodes, then yes you need something like cifs or nfs
