So I've been running proxmox all fine for a couple weeks now and I've been able to reboot normally but all of a sudden I cannot seem to have proxmox boot and I get the following
Booting `Proxmox VE GNU/Linux`

Loading Linux 6.8.12-2-pve ...
Loading initial ramdisk ...
I have done a memtest and it did pass.
I am not sure what to do (as this is my first time having used proxmox)

I'm not sure if it's of any help, but I got the same issue. But after 5 minutes or so it got passed the Loading initial ramdisk... Not sure if it started with 6.8.12-2-pve or 6.8.12-3-pve. Anyway I had a USB-disk m.2 format connected for Jellyfin, and mounted in fstab. This external disk is dead/bricked it seams. Not visible in Partition Editor on my Linux Desktop. Removed the disk and mountpoint in fstab, and I no longer have any issue.

The only issue is that there is only the one drive in the case (I was using an old pc as a server pc) so I wouldn't be surprised if the drive did just give up or something, when I have the time I'll see if the drive is still there or not

Is the problem solved? I'm also encountering this problem now and don't know how to solve it.

Didn't you try to passthrought the graphic card for one of your VM's? If you did, maybe the VM 'stole' the graphic card from the bare metal which result to the display being freezed. In this case, you should still be able to access the web GUI from another computer.
