I have been trying to create an installer USB stick for Proxmox 6.2 for my Dell Precision T5810. It can boot my Windows 10 USB installer but it cannot find a boot device when I create a USB Proxmox installer with Etcher or Rufus using the official USB installer guide (I have tried using two different W10 computers). I do have an external DVD-RW drive but no writable discs of any kind at home. Am I missing something simple or is it possible to create a SSD installer using a spare SSD?

After trying my 6.2 USB installer on another computer and verifying that the USB installer works there, I finally figured out the correct BIOS settings to boot a USB drive.

Hello Matte, I have the same issue on the Dell Precision T5810. What are the correct BIOS settings you figured out? Thanks in advance.

I managed to boot from a USB installer on my workstation. I just pressed F12 to show the boot menu, and I was able to see the USB stick.
