Hello, I cannot build a cluster from scratch.

I have installed recently in june-july 2002 two proxmox machines. First one has 2 containers running and i have created a cluster with it.
I try to add node2 (192.168.1.30) to the new cluster on node1 (192.168.1.40). Both machines have been installed from the latest proxmox iso.
Both physical machines are on the same home LAN. Firewalls have been disabled on both machines on datacenter and node levels.
Even after today's (20220709) apt upgrade here is the problem: I cannot successfully add second node to the existing cluster (1 node).
I can ping and ssh each other machine. I have added their hostnames to the hosts file, so i can ping them by name.
They have only 1 network interface.
I systematically cannot join node2 to the cluster of node1.

Could you help me please? The whole cluster thing looks broken from scratch...
Some logs attached.
