Cannnot boot any 4.15 kernels

I cannot boot from any version of the 4.15 kernel. I have to manually select a 4.13 one.
I have tried to upload a screen shot but this forum will not let me post a url or upload a picture (it says it is too big)

I have attempted to upload the output of an lshw command but5 this forum will not let me - message too long.
VERY FRUSTRATING!
Here is the first part. Can you let me know how I can let you know any other information that may be useful.
Alternatively, can I just reinstall and somehow retain or restore my containers and VMs?

This is very old hardware platfrom (~10 years), and I'm noit quite sure about its support of virtualization features. First you should update to the latest BIOS version available (https://support.hp.com/de-de/driver...crotower-pc/3658081/model/3658083?sku=KK377ET) as yours is the initial release from 2008 (latest is from 2015), and then check if within the BIOS all required settings are enabled.
