Can the system filestructure be installed on a zfs?

Hi,

I don't remember anymore and I don't want to screw up my isntalaltion just to test it.
Does anyone remember if during the instalaltion, we can configure that the system will be installed on a zfs storage? I have my system structure on a ssd, so I was wondering if it won't be the safest way to insure a recovery of data of system files in case of just file corruption (not crash of the disk of course)

Depends on the version you installed, but in generell it is possible to install everything on ZFS. If you only have one disk, then you should have a system backup in case of recovery.

Please post the output of the following command (in CODE-tags please)

zpool status -v

but my question was that, if we have the option to create a zfs array during installation process?
+ I do not mean to say that my vm are on zfs, I mean the system not the data system.
+ why should zfs be better than raid? since you can do exactly the same thing with mdadm which can be based on partition
+how should I migrate the system to zfs without to reinstall everything? if it's that possible of course...

ZFS is a filesystem, RAID is not. Please refer to https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage:_ZFS#General_ZFS_advantages for the advantages.

It's Linux, so everything is possible :-D
However, reinstall is less time consuming. I'd strongly suggest reinstall
