Hi everyone,

I’m exploring storage options for our infrastructure and I’m curious about integrating Storage Area Networks (SANs) with cloud storage solutions. Specifically, I’d like to know if it’s feasible to combine SAN with cloud storage and how such an integration might work.

Has anyone here had experience with integrating SAN with cloud storage? What are the benefits and potential challenges of doing so? Are there particular tools or strategies that can help make this integration smoother?

I’d appreciate any insights or experiences you can share on this topic. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, you can totally mix SANs with cloud storage, it’s actually a good idea if you want both high performance and room to grow. Just know that setting it up right might take some special software to make sure everything plays nice, ‘cause latency and compatibility can be tricky.

If you want to keep costs down, look at AWS discounts, they might help save up to 3%, which is nice when you’re planning out a hybrid setup.
