Can not backup USB attached file-drive

I have a NFTS attached usb drive called plexdata.

When I go to the drive the backuip possibility is not shown?

Any hints is highly appreciated

Proxmox VE does not support complete drive backups you can only backup your VMs and Containers

We learned at university that data matters not programmes. Thanks for your ansver. I will use the PC for another purpose than Proxmox backup server.

This is exactly why it is recommended to backup the VMs and Containers. There is no need to backup the complete Drive, just backup your Containers.
