Can´t see samba server(pdc) in local network with openvz just using IP

I installed PDC samba server in openvz proxmox 1.7 with template Ubuntu. Everiyhing it´s ok, but I can´t see computer in local area network looking by name. So, I can't see netbios name. If I use IP it´s ok.
When I try see something using command nmblookup -A <ipmyserver> I recive this message:
Looking up status of 192.168.x.x
No reply from 192.168.x.x

Somebody could help me?

I am not a samba expert, but I guess that command does a level 2 broadcast onh the network (which is not available on OpenVZ venet).

I fixed my problem.

But, to fix my problem I needed to make some scripts and change the vz boots..... see -> http://wiki.openvz.org/Using_private_IPs_for_Hardware_Nodes

In proxmox, Could I set ip in veth to start my virtual machine with ip fixed without change configurations in bash mode ?
