Hello
I am going to install proxmox on server which has raid controller
I am interested to use BTRFS file system
should I disable the raid controller or keep it
notes:
1. controller is only applicable for 2 disks only which has BOSS for os
2. I have other 4 hard disks

Can you passthrough the disks through the controller, so that the OS can see the individual disks? If so, it should work fine.
If all disks are the same model or size and rpm, I'd recommend using all in a raid. This is faster than two individual ones.

Please be aware that btrfs is still not stable for raid5, so if you plan to use raid5, please failover to ZFS raidz1.
